The information about this dance was supplied by Tim Bolton-Maggs who wrote: As for Campsie Glen, my version is completely different, so it’s definitely another dance. I have no idea who devised it but it must predate the one that’s already in the database, as I had the instructions long before the ‘bourrel’ was introduced as a figure. It probably dates from the same era as Alltshellach (RSCDS book 23).
