Originally published in 1822 by Nathaniel Gow as a 24 bar dance and named after Sir Walter Scott’s historical novel Kenilworth. Reconstructed by the RSCDS in 2021 to mark the 250th anniversary of Sir Walter’s birth. Bars 25-32 have been added for those dancers who prefer 32 bar dances.
