HAD stands for “hospitalisation à domicile”, which means Hospital At Home. I spent many days and weeks in hospital, but I also had the chance to be on a hospital at home programme for quite long periods, which was very nice! I really enjoyed being back home with my husband and two children, but still being as well taken care of as if I were in hospital. This department is very professional, the whole team is really great and includes a lovely and marvellous coordinating doctor and a fantastic psychologist. It is a dance for advanced dancers to symbolise these experienced professionals. The slow strathspey time represents how they took the time to listen to me and to look after me in a very reassuring way, and is also meant to describe their sweetness. It’s a two-couple dance (small number), because they treat patients in a very personalised way.
