This dance was created for Sophie Marchand, the Scottish Country Dance teacher and president of the Méaudre Reel, on the occasion of her 50th birthday. Her adult SCD students surprised her with a first demo of this dance on April 4, 2022. This was an opportunity to thank her for her commitment to teaching SCD in the Vercors for more than 15 years. Through her dynamism and with a lot of patience, she has indeed brought the taste and the pleasure of dancing to dozens and dozens of students, young and old!
