Devised “to mark the birth of Madison Inglis”.
The dance was originally intended as a strathspey. However when the deviser needed a jig for a demonstration involving 3 couples it was tried in that rhythm (see
dance list 34028
). In that incarnation it is called The Wee Bairnie Jig which is added as an alias. It may be danced in either rhythm.
