Devised in honour of the Newark Scottish Country Dance Society which has given a very warm welcome to my wife and myself since we moved to the East Midlands in 2020.
As with many of my ‘formation dances’ this dance can be done as a jig, reel or strathspey. For teaching purposes it is sometimes useful for a class to dance it first as a strathspey and then repeat it immediately in quick time. The planned recording will have the required music (3x32S+3x32J).
