Deviser states: “Piper’s Schottische is based on the aesthetic dance style of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. The dance was initially inspired by the Port-a-Beul: Hara Hibhi which is featured on Gillebride MacMillan’s album Air Forladh. It can however be danced to any good recording of the Highland Schottische.”
