Notes from the deviser: This dance is inspired by the hairpin turns and mile-high swinging bridge on Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. This is the site of the annual Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, the setting of Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander, and the location of my family reunion.
