24 Dance to each corner & set for 5 couples: follow pattern of the figure for 3 couples, but when reaching 3pl do not set but continue into other half of the set (only set in 1pl & 5pl). 1W & 3M never reach 1pl/5pl but dance twice round in a diamond in the centre. On [24] 1c & 3c end on centre line, 1c/3c facing down/up, W/M in top/bottom halves of the set

Revised in 2024.
After this dance was first tested and filmed it was suggested that the turn once in bars 5-8 should be one and a half, reducing that in bars 27-28 to be just a half turn for a smoother entry into the final half reels across. This is now the recommended version. Compared to the original version, 1st and 3rd couple have each swapped roles with their partner from bars 9-26.
