"It was devised by Mary M Campbell, a former Ross-shire dance teacher, to go with music ‘Mrs Mary M Campbell’ written for her by David J MacKenzie, a local musician.
I was given a copy of the sheet music and dance crib by Muir of Ord dance teacher Duncan Cromb, who tells me that it was a very popular dance locally during the 70’s."
