Note 1: 1c and 2c step in for the half Poussette on bar 1. 2c does not finish the Poussette but dropping hands on bar 4 and passing right shoulder to own side, as 1c continues another half Poussette with 3c.
Note 2: In a message to the SCDDB editors on 19 April 2024, the deviser modified the dance as follows:
In my original instructions, in bars 1 - 4, while 1s and 2s do the modified poussette, 3s set and turn right hand to end in the first corner diagonal. Having danced it a few times, people have suggested that it worked better if the 3s turn 2 hands instead of just with the right hand. It feels more natural as they flow into a half poussette with 1s and the formation is more cohesive. I agree with them and so I’d like to include this alternative.
