A Summer Meeting
’ by Irene Townshend wasn’t going well, and one of the recurring excuses was: “Well, it’s just not possible to learn a dance called Summer Meeting in the middle of January!”
Immediately, the idea for ‘A Winter Meeting’ was born – so no more excuses! The dance is meant to follow the same pattern as ‘A Summer Meeting’ (turn, reel, Bourrel, Poussette) with a few alterations to include the 3rd couple in more of the figures.
