The Méaudre Reel , a Scottish Country Dance association based in the Vercors in France, regularly organises trips for its dancers combining dance and tourism in different regions of France, or even Europe. They have been to brittany several times, particularly to Port Louis. In August 2024 they were invited by the local SCD club to visit during the Lorient Interceltic Festival. This dance is dedicated to this region and its inhabitants, especially those who invited the Méaudre Reel dancers.
