Although 3rd and 4th couple start crossed over (1,2,3x,4x), one turn of the dances ends with those in 2nd and 4th places crossed over (3,1x,4,2x). So the genders gradually change during the dance. Those crossing in the Ladies (RH) Chain are 1W & 4W in some repeats, 1M & 4M in others.
