1s+3s turn corners RH to finish in lines of 4 (1s & corners facing down, 3s & corners facing up)

All Adv+Ret for 2 steps
7-8
1s+3s turn corners 2H to face them
9-16
All 4 couples dance reels of 4 across the dance. At the end, 1s & 3s take nearer hands to face into the set while the corners remain in their new positions & face across the dance.
17-20
1s+3s advance 2 steps towards the centre, take nearer hands with dancer opposite, dance out to 2nd & 4th places
while
2L+4M also 2M+4L set & dance towards each other to meet in 1st & 3rd places
21-24
1L+3M also 1M+3L 1/2 turn 2H to face, pull back RSh & dance out to corners to face partners
while
2L+4M also 2M+4L advance 2 steps towards the centre, take nearer hands with dance opposite (original partner) dance out to 2nd & 4th places
25-26
1s+3s set advancing to partner across the dance while 2s+4s turn 2H to face into set

27-28
Man 1/2 turns opposite Lady RH & retains hand but at arm’s length from each other
29-30
Man retraces steps with Lady turning right under Man’s arm briefly into Allemande hold (Man behind Lady facing Ladies’ original place) & releasing Ladies RH she turns under Man’s left arm until almost in original places
31-32
Couple change places LH to finish in 3rd & 1st places facing into set
33-40
All dance 8H round & back
Repeat 3 times with 2nd & 4th couples starting on the 2nd & 4th repetitions
