Devised 7/8/2024 as a teaching dance as part of a sequence for teaching 5C dances. The dance is a 5C version of Bob McMurtry’s dance, Bev’s Delight from his book, The Devil’s Quandary. Recommended tune is ”Gloria’s Wee Jig” from the same collection, and by Bob McMurtry. There is no 5C recording of this music, so I used ”Aire Bennan” and my choice would be the recording my Ron Gonella and Iain MacPhail in ”Scottish Dance Masters-Vol 2”, although my recording has 8 extra bars!. The recording in Clashmardin Vol 2 by Nicol McLaren is also good.
