“I have a bad hip and knee on the right side and most dances are right-oriented, so I wrote this dance to work the left side more. The title is a play on Horace Greeley’s exhortation to ‘Go west, young man.’ Note, it is very important that the corners dance out to place on bar 24 to be ready (and out of the way) for the diagonal rights and lefts.”
