Who was Flt Sgt Peter Brown?
Born in Jamaica in 1926, he travelled to the UK in 1943 to join the RAF in World War Two. He trained as a wireless operator and air gunner and had flown five missions in Lancaster bombers before the age of 20. He died in his home in Maida Vale, north London in December 2022 aged 96.
