We tried to adopt a bonded pair of 14-year-old female cats named Coco and Boo. Coco is a calico and Boo is a tortieshell and Dan has always wanted a calico cat. Well, it didn’t work out. We already had a 9-year-old gentle male who wanted a friend and these 2 cats didn’t want to be friends – which would have been OK – but Coco was terrified of Trotter and we couldn’t soothe her enough to make things work.
