On bars 1 & 2, 2nd couple step in and up and
on bars 9,11 & 13 turning using elbow grip is recommended as an alternative.
On bars 21 & 22, 2nd and 3rd couples pas de basque to passed dancer and quarter turn to pas de basque to next dancer.
At the end of bar 24 having crossed, 2nd and 3rd couples then face in ready for double triangle positions up and down.
On bars 27 & 28 and 31 & 32 1st couple should make eye contact.
At the end of bar 32, 1st couple continue dancing out and at the end of the second time through 1st couple continue to cast to the bottom of the set as 4th couple step in and up.
As skip-change-of-step predominates, the dance should be danced with a seamless flow from one figure to the next.
