I feel that the fIrst dance of a party or ball and the fIrst dance after intermission should be gentle dances - no pas de basque, preferably shorter than normal - and also very friendly dances; so this (which has
gone through many permutations but I’m finally happy with it) now opens our Grandfather Mountain Games Gala each July in the lovely hills of North Carolina.
