In summer 1986 there was a gathering of the Silver Birch Girl Guide leaders from the Kitchener / Waterloo area and other leaders from Ireland, Scotland, England and the Continent. Pam Boaz, from the K-W SCD group, had an interesting idea to take to them a Scottish Country Dance that inexperienced dancers could do.
