Men set while Ladies dance in, Ladies pass each other LSh & curve to left, then turn right about to face “partner”

Men change places with opposite Lady RH, Men pass LSh dancing back towards places while Lady dances to “partner’s” place

Drewry’s notes to the dance say “Glen Truim leads northwards from Drumochter Pass towards Newtonmore. Glentruim House, beside the Spey, at the mouth of the Glen, is the home of one of the Chieftains of Clan Macpherson (Andrew’s Clan). Glentromie (the name of the tune) is the glen to the east of Glen Truim.”
