The instructions suggest using either of the recordings La Flora or Tayport Beauty from the album for book 27. In the notes, George Swirles reports that the dance was introduced “at a session of Scottish Country Dancing held in Holland Park, London, in 1981 for the entertainment of tourists in London who were invited to take part in many of the dances… At Holland Park all nationalities danced and all ages. I have had partners varing from a delightful, little girl of about six or seven to a lady who must have been about 60 or more.”
