All dance special R&L for 4 couples: The following 4 bar moves are all danced simultaneously & all the terms used refer to pstns not persons: {1L casts to 4L, {4M casts to 1M, {1M+2L & 2M+3L & 3M+4L all change places RH & persons ending in 2nd & 3rd positions change places LH on sides while those ending at 1M & 4L positions cross over to other side

Opposing tandem Reels3 across: 3W (+1M staying close behind) with 4c (Rsh to 4M) and 1W (+3M close behind) with 2c (Rsh to 2W), (to 2,3,1x,4)

1c cross RH | cast off (4c up) ; 1c turn RH (2,3,4,1) 25-40 Four-couple diagonal R&L, as follows:

From 1W and 4M places cast down / up to other end of sideline {4}. Meanwhile top 3 on M side change diagonally RH with bottom 3 on W side | those in 2pl and 3pl change LH on sidelines while{2} those reaching 1M and 4W place cross to other side, ready to cast

repeat figure from new positions three times. (2,3,4,1) From 1M position the moves are: RH to 2W pl | LH to 3W pl ; RH to 2M pl | LH to 3M pl ; RH to 4W pl | cross to 4M pl ; cast {4} to 1M pl) All dancers follow the same cyclical pattern, or its inversion.
