Devised on Sunday 12th July, 1970. The title is that of an Irish reel. Iain devised the dance after Noeline and he had inadvertently danced a chase instead of the figure of eight in “Corn Rigs” during an evening at the Buchan Street Club in Christchurch - hence the choice of name.
Suitable recorded music is any arrangement for “Corn Rigs” particularly that of Stan Hamilton.
