The notes add that the “dance pays tribute to Angela and Jimmy Reid who live in a house named ‘Monymusk’ near Basingstoke. Angela teaches the local Scottish group, and Jimmy is an ex-piper of the Black Watch. The original tune for the dance was written by their daughter, Sheena, well known as a member of the Frank Reid Band.”
