As mentioned in the
Glendarroch Sheet
, is a rearrangement of Derek Haynes’ earlier dance “Hadrian’s Wall”.
Possibly, Derek Haynes liked the “The Spey in Spate” dance better, which might explain why “The Spey in Spate” did enter the devisor’s Carnforth Collection books published in the 1990s, while “Hadrian’s Wall” did not.
