All set to person opposite, change places passing RSh (Lady making waltz turn to right, Men moving straight forward), set to partners & change places as before

9-16

Repeat above Fig back to original places

17-32

All join hands & balance forward & backward, Men pass Lady on left over to the right (2H). Repeat 3 times, finishing in ballroom hold with partner

33-40

Couples waltz around each other (Men pass by left), moving anticlockwise, to meet next couple

32 All joining hands balance forward and backward | M balancing on the spot bring W on their L over to their R using BH ; repeat three times {4+4+4}

33-40

Waltz around the other couple, M passing Lsh, and moving anti-clockwise to meet next couple.

Note: Waltz setting is close to A{1}&R{1}.

According to the notes in the RSCDS book, this dance is derived from a longer dance called »The Guaracha, or Spanish Waltz«. However, that title has never been applied to the RSCDS dance.
