Inscribed “for Sarah Scott of Vancouver B.C. and for Simon Scott, her father.”
Siwash Rock is a large rock outcrop in the Pacific Ocean at the west end of Stanley Park in Vancouver.
It is a prominent feature in the view from Simon Scott’s house. The Rock is connected in Indian Legend with the birth of a princess and the name “Sarah” also means “Princess”.
