This dance was written for and performed the first time at the wedding of Rita Borsos-Balzus and Stefan Balzus in Budapest - their lucky first meeting was in Ireland during their holidays, where they decided to make their plans together…
A simpler version of this dance called
Irish Romance
has been devised by
David Gilliam
. He decided to make this version more suitable for a bit less experienced dancers by changing bars 9 to 24. It sure takes less time to teach it and make the dancers move.
