The dance notes say this is ‘Inscribed to Jim Kuemmerle, who makes atrocious puns. After doing his first dance with an allemande Jim remarked that, “It needs some work but when I master the formation I’ll be filled with allemande joy.” Of course I took it as a challenge but that only encourages him!’
