1c+2c & 3c+4c R&L. On [8] 1M & 4M face out (no polite turn) (1,2,3x,4x)

1c chase cclw to 3plx while{4} 4c chase cclw to 2pl (2W & 3W step out on [9-10], 2M & 3M step out on [11-12]) (to 2,4,1x,3x) ; ½ Reels4 on sides. On [15-16] 4c & 1c pivot R to face the cnrs[pos] they just passed (3x,4,1x,2)

Middles (4c & 1c) turn ends (3c & 2c) RH 1½ to form a St Andrew’s Cross (3c & 2c retain RH and give LHA in centre) ; H.Schottische BiL : (middle couples RHJ to cnrs and LHJ in centre) all set HS {1}, while setting to R drop LH and pass cnrs changing to LHJ (take LH under RH) {1} ; on return change hands back (take RH under LH) {2}, at end 3c & 2c form a St Andrew’s Cross again very briefly as on [20].

3c+2c LHA ; 3W+2M LHJ on Mside & 3M+2W LHJ on Wside lead out and cross, 2c to 1pl, 3c to 4plx (4c & 1c step inwards) (2,4,1x,3x)
