This dance was devised without a title in mind. When it was “tried out” on a class someone asked what it was called. When they were told it did not have a title they suggested that it would be a nice idea to dedicate it to my wife who was very supportive of me in my teaching. As this sounded like a good idea it was felt rather than call it “A Reel for Doreen” it would be more practical for inclusion on future programmes if it was less personal, hence the title “A Reel for my Spouse”.
