Заметки
“Campbell of Duntroon” was devised by Peter McBryde when visiting Canberra, Australia, in the early 1970s. It refers to Robert Campbell (1769-1846), born Greenock, Inverclyde. In 1825 Campbell was granted land in an area of New South Wales that is now the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) and called it ‘Duntroon’ after the family castle, Duntrune Castle on Loch Crinan in Argyll, Scotland. Duntroon House is now the Officer’s Mess for the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
