Written for an ex-Arbroathian Amy Adams (née Petrie) to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of
Independence in the Abbey of Aberbrothock in 1320. The pattern of the dance represents the “Round 0” (a circular window in the Abbey ruins) and the crossing bars of the port cullis in Arbroath’s Coat of Arms.
